May 9, San Bernardino to Palmdale

OMG, what a day! After leaving Garden Hills Hotel in SB with a downhill driveway Diane and I spent the rest of the day climbing! We had a total elevation gain of 7105 ft over 67 miles. There was a wonderful downhill through the Wrightwood park area that went on forever, perfect. And so well deserved after the forever climb! Most folks elected to get bumped to the beginning of the downhill, we may need to rethink our adventure meters. Our wonderful sag Cindi took such good care of us all the way through, even bought us Epsom salts for our very sore muscles. We didn't get to the hotel til 5:30P? They delayed dinner til 6:30. I was starved since lunch was overlooked but dinner was so good. Spaghetti! I went for seconds.

A very long and super great day. Our ride time was over 7 hours!
