Oh what a day! There was a little groaning with the prospect of a 78.5 mile ride with about 2496 ft of climb. Wow, were we ever treated to a best day ever ride! We had incredible vistas with the most wonderful tail winds this cyclist has ever encountered. We road mostly on 395, my CA friends and family know it. It had wide fairly clean shoulders and truck drivers and cars who passed us with care. Even though there was some climbing it seemed to be mostly downhill. All we had to do was hang onto to the handle bars and guide our bikes, the wind did the rest. What a fun ride!

That's Barb and it looks like she's in a race with the truck, not so. |

After we arrived we headed to McD's for a late lunch. I wonder what Emily has planned for dinner?
Glad it was an "easier" day today. Love those tail winds! I can't believe the terrain you are riding through! You deserve more praise than I can give! Love the photos.
