Jun 4, Bend to Sisters

Sisters! I just love the town of Sisters. I've been so lucky to have been here 3 times prior to this trip. Twice with my quilting friend Marlene and once with our Cycle Club. It's just a darling place so lively and beautiful. I must confess to have purchased material once again, how could I not!

The 21 mile rather flat and scenic ride from Bend to Sisters was so nice. We arrived early and rode around the town to find a bike shop. I wanted to get a new chain, mine was stretched,  and to get my drive chain cleaned. Four of us dropped off our bikes at the Blazing Saddles Bike shop not sure when they would be done. So off for coffee and shopping. To our delight all bikes were done just a few short hours later and even our rooms were ready early, what a day!

The three Sisters

They're called the 
North Sister, Middle Sister and South Sister.

This is a herd of 13 metal horse sculptures and 2 dogs with a cowboy and cowgirl, the 13th is out of view in the front. I've wanted this picture for years but it can't be taken so easily from a car. Another reason to ride bikes🚴.

Tomorrow we'll have a nice breakfast in town followed by some more shopping. With laundry done and my bike cleaned it should be a real day off.
