Crater Lake is so beautiful any time of the day. I really enjoyed my day off there and I found it to be so needed. After that very long climb a rest was perfect. Diane was my roommate and after a lovely dinner at the Crater Lake Lodge an early nite followed.

After a breakfast in the Lodge we took off in very cold weather. First there was the climb then a chilly downhill! We had to watch for icy patches.

The rest of the ride was a gentle downhill with, hold onto your hats, a tailwind! We were on Rt 97 which is a truck route so lots of traffic noise. We did have large shoulders. There were a few stops for snacks and grilled cheese with fries.

Well, the Warriors are ahead so the excitement runs high. Diane has gotten a lot of the ladies involved with the Warriors tournament. Go Warriors!
